Hampton Wick Cycling Club
 

We are opening a new club and we welcome cyclists of any ability, with any bicycle, to join us.
 

If you are just starting out on your cycling journey or are an experienced cyclist, Hampton Wick Cycling Club is the club you are looking for.

Having been a member of cycling clubs in the past, I know how daunting it can be to join a club, seemingly full of experienced cyclists. Concerned that you may not be strong enough, fast enough, or have a suitable bicycle, none of these things matter at Hampton Wick Cycling Club.
The only things you need, other than your bicycle, is an enjoyment of social interaction and the love of being on two wheels.

Most of the club activities will be based on road cycling, but before you go out and spend thousands of pounds on a road bike, the Club will host events for beginners that wish to try group cycling and gain experience of riding on the roads as a group. You can build up your confidence and also increase the distances of your riding capabilities.
Providing it is safe and road worthy, your current bicycle will be fine for these Beginner events.

For those of you with more experience of road cycling, we are aiming to build a schedule of events, for all levels. Whilst growing the membership we will host weekly club rides, then in the future we want to support you in training for and participating in sportives, audaxes and possibly some multi-day touring.
