So as you may have read from the blogs below, we embarked upon our first multi-day event in July, cycling from London to Paris. We have also ridden some shorter rides to Chipstead & Peaslake. Tomorrow is our Annual visit to the Isle of Wight for a day around the island, with five members making the trip this year.
But what can you expect for the remainder of the Summer? Well, we will now concentrate on some shorter distance rides that hopefully appeal to our members, with an occasional long ride scheduled for those who wish to rack up the miles before the end of the better weather.
For the remainder of August we will have a social ride to West Horsley, possibly a Sunday session in Richmond Park, and a ride to Tanhouse Farm Shop that we did earlier in the year, when it was still quite chilly. We are looking forward to doing the Tanhouse ride as it seemed a pretty route, so will be good to see the trees and hedgerows with a bit of colour on them.
As previously mentioned our new look website is very close to completion and we are just entering some final testing where all club members will be invited to join the site and test more of the functionality. We hope to roll the new site out completely by the end of August, if not sooner.
